Breast Lift Before Breastfeeding

Breast_LIft_Before_Breastfeeding.jpgBreast lifts are often requested by women after pregnancy.  A breast lift before breastfeeding, however, can be difficult to address.  If a woman has a breast lift and then becomes pregnant or breastfeeds, it can alter the results of the lift.

The experts at Advanced Cosmetic Surgery Center in Denver recommend that women wait several months following the completion of breastfeeding before undergoing a breast lift.  Typically, patients should wait a period of three to six months after breastfeeding is finished before a lift is performed.

Breastfeeding can also help a woman regain her pre-pregnancy weight. Doctors advise that women achieve their ideal weight before undergoing a breast lift.
