Breast Lift for Sagging Bust Line

Posted by administration on May 4, 2016

Breast_Lift.jpgMastopexy, otherwise known as a breast lift, is a surgical procedure to correct and reshape sagging breasts.  Women’s breasts often change shape due to pregnancy, weight changes or aging.  A breast lift, sometimes combined with implants, can rejuvenate a woman’s bust line, giving her a more youthful appearance.

The type of breast lift performed (location and type of incision) depends on the severity of sagging and other factors.  Scars from a breast lift can be a hot topic among patients.  A breast lift can take up to six weeks to heal, although the scar can take up to a year and sometimes longer.

Consult with your healthcare provider about your cosmetic surgery needs or call our office for more information and answers to your breast lift questions.
